After seeing Oprah Winfrey's show about living life without regrets, artist Mark Waller decided to turn his dream into reality and have an art exhibition in New York City. He was so determined that he paid for his flight on September 13, 2001, just two days after the World Trade Center attacks. He arrived to a city in pain. New Yorkers told him he was an inspiration. To them, the fact that he flew from his native Australia, a safe country, to the center of a disaster was gutsy and courageous. On his return, Mark was inspired by the unintentional difference he had made and resolved to contribute back.
